Foyt has survived numerous brushes with death in his nearly eight decades. These include multiple racing accidents during his storied career, resulting in numerous surgeries and a staph infection. That’s not all, as he also walked away from a bulldozer accident in which he rolled the machine over and even a killer bee attack on his ranch.
